Carrie Claypool has been an active member and leader at Song of Life for several years. She took a few moments to share about her experience at the church with us.
You are very active at Song of Life, leading our SoL Teens youth ministry and leading the contemporary worship. What do these ministries mean to you? What keeps you involved?
People are always surprised that I do so much but I feel like the two ministries complement each other for me. One the one side I give everything I’ve got to the youth and making sure they have a strong faith base and are ready to face the world on their own. Singing and leading worship is the thing that fills me up, my personal worship is my gift to God and He fills me up for that.
How has Song of Life impacted your life and/or your faith?
Being a part of Song of life and helping it become a great church has strengthened my faith so much! I have seen this church do some amazing things that was never thought even remotely possible. I am so looking forward to the next phase of Song of Life and where we are going from here.
What does “living in faith everyday” mean to you?
It means making Song of Life an everyday part of what you do; living for God through SOL .
What is your greatest dream/hope for Song of Life United Methodist Church?
To become a vibrant part of the community of Queen Creek.
